Directional Drilling allows us the capability to run under roadways, waterways and buildings underground pipes, conduits and cables ranging in size from ½” up to 14”. Our services allow for precision drilling with minimal disruption to the environment. This technique is fast becoming the preferred solution for many of our clients because it eliminates the need for surface excavation in the installation of underground telecommunication lines, gas, electric and water and it is an efficient method of working in highly congested areas.

Plowing and trenching techniques are applicable for the burying and relocation of cables and duct runs. This method can be less expensive than the trenchless methods in non-pavement areas. This type of technology is used to install copper and fiber duct runs and or repair collapsed or severely broken pipe.

Ferguson Michiana is proficient at installing communication vaults up to 17-feet by 11-feet. In addition, we incorporate the latest techniques to place duct runs in cites with both rigid and HDPE poly and plastic pipes.
