Ferguson Michiana, Inc. was launched
in 1971 by R.C (Clare) Ferguson who was later joined by sons and current owner, Dave Ferguson.
Due to a progressive viewpoint, a loyal workforce and a lot of determination, Ferguson Michiana
Inc. is a leading provider of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) services and a trailblazer
in the Utility Construction Industry. Ferguson Michiana Inc. has built a reputation for
quality work, business integrity, strong relationships and long-term repeat business.
Over the years the business has expanded to
include $2.2 million in equipment and inventory with a three building facility encompassing
over 17,000 square feet. Ferguson Michiana has successfully completed thousands of HDD projects
for national, state and local firms. In addition to the placing of cable and duct, fiber, telephone
and other utility’s by directional boring and excavation, we also provide aerial placement and
repair services.

Ferguson Michiana’s primary area of operation is
Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. Our service area is 100 mile radius of our plant. We
view our employees as our most valuable asset and allowing them to return home safely every night
to their loved ones is a benefit we are proud to be able to provide.
Located on Michigan highway M-140 just north of
the Indiana state line, our rural base has proven to be an excellent location for serving our
customers in the Midwest as well as a mobilization point for travel to more distant locations.
We have successfully completed major projects outside the Midwest ranging from Directional Boring
along and under numerous streams and rivers, trailer parks, subdivisions, industrial sites,
interstate highways, streets and alleys.
